The Town Council approved the plat of Sturgill Estates in 2008: 38 lots on Stafford Drive. Its houses went up over the next decade and a half, most of them in the 2010s.
It has older neighbors of the same name. Sections two and three of Sturgill Acres, also on Stafford Drive, came before the Town in 2007 and 2012.
