History
Built in sections on the east side.
Falling Branch is one of the larger neighborhoods on the east side of town, built in numbered sections since about 1980. Water mains for its eighth and ninth sections were laid in the town’s 2002 to 2003 fiscal year, and building has gone on into the 2010s, with the 1980s the busiest decade.
It shares its name with the Falling Branch Industrial Park, which, by the Town’s account, came into the town limits with a boundary adjustment in the 1990s.
