History
Lots on the old mill road.
Senneca Springs began with a 2007 plat for its first two phases: 45 lots on Chrisman Mill Road. Water mains for the second phase were laid in the town’s 2007 to 2008 fiscal year, and its houses went up from 2007 into the 2010s. It was approved as a planned housing development, a zoning the Town’s planning staff pointed to in 2017 alongside Cambria Crossing.
Its road is an old one. By the Town’s account, the Chrisman Mill stood along Crab Creek on what is now Chrisman Mill Road, one of two mills around which the area’s milling gathered in the late 1700s.
