The details.

The permit was first advertised for 49 townhouses on about 4.05 acres (13 units per acre) and was cut to 47 before the hearing. Council members raised stormwater, sidewalks on Scott Street and Roanoke Street, density, street width and traffic; staff said the Planning Commission had spent three meetings on the request. The site plan sheets (prepared by Lumsden Associates for Jones Real Estate & Recycling Co, Inc.) show townhouse units off Scott Street NE and Hungate Street NE with a 10-foot multi-use trail. No homes are recorded as built on the lots in county records. The property is designated Residential on the 2013 Future Land Use Map.
